He is survived by many that loved and adored him. The dash between the dates represents a life full of memories that will be cherished forever and ever by all who knew him. 01-12-1987. - 04-11-2021.
It is with profound sadness that Jeanna and I have to tell everyone that our Beloved Son, Matt lost his battle with addiction on Sunday. Matt valiantly fought and tried to beat this disease but was unable to. Our Prayer to God was that Matt would be healed and live a wonderful life here on Earth. Our Prayer always ended with “Thy will be done”. God healed Matt and freed him from the insidious bonds of addiction. Matt is cured and happy and whole. Because we believe and trust Christ our broken hearts can now be healed also. We know that we will be reunited and what a reunion that will be.
We would like to thank everyone that has prayed with us and loved us throughout this journey and ask that all our attention must now turn to helping another family facing the same situation. Matt was a sweet boy that loved deeply and cared about everyone. He truly had a Servants heart and fought injustice and stood up for ones that could not stand for themselves. He especially loved animals and cared for the forgotten that became homeless. We will hold a private family celebration of his life and find a way to honor his memory. We ask all that knew and loved Matt to please do the same. We want everyone to know that We are fine. We appreciate and covet Prayers for us but we need only that. Prayers have carried us this far and will carry us in the days forward.
in lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to an animal shelter, any Organization that benefits the homeless or any cause that is important to you.
With love and gratitude . Jeanna and Mike ❤️
