Mary Jo Williams

Funeral services for Mary Jo Williams, age 81, of Anniston, will be 2 pm Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Ty Hooper officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Williams passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at NHC.

Mary is survived by her daughter Cheryl Davis; her sons Vic Lloyd (Donna), Mark Lloyd, Philip Lloyd, Ivy Williams, Kelly Williams (Shirley) and Tim Williams (Elizabeth); her grandchildren; Bridgett Mackey, Ashley Decker, Melissa Riggs, Kerri Hayes, Amanda, Lauren, Stacy, T.J., Benny; several great & great-great grandchildren and Several nieces and nephews .

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Benny Williams; her parents C.V. & Gertrude Gray; her brother Charles Gray and her sister Diana Butterworth.

Serving as pallbearers will be Landon Senciboy, Cole Senciboy, Austin Driscoll, Scott Payton, Rodney Gray and Danny McCullars.

Mary enjoyed coloring and word search puzzles. She loved to sing and listen to music. She was an avid cook and shopper. She loved Alabama Football and the Atlanta Braves. She was the best mom in the world and an amazing grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. She was the light in our lives and will be greatly missed.
