A visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Eric Snider officiating. Burial will follow at Pinetucky Baptist Church Cemetery in Micaville.
Mary is survived by her husband for 40 years, QL; her children, Robin Cheatwood, Bob Hendrick (Ann), Rod Hendrick (Paula), stepdaughters Donna Spurlin (Tony), Becky Arenth (Larry), Gina Ferguson (Gene); 21 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister Rachel Boyd (Jerry); and brothers Richard Henderson (Mary) and Gary Henderson (Chloe).
She is preceded in death by her parents, B.C. and Bessie Henderson, her sister Louise Tweet, her son in law Wallace Cheatwood and her stepdaughter Judy Terhune.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Todd Henderson, Dale Henderson, Dustin Crumley, Joel Spurlin, Larry Arenth III, Quention Arenth and Stone Henderick.
Mary Frances was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a devoted christian and member of the First Baptist Church of White Plains. She was a prayer warrior and loved serving the Lord. She enjoyed being active with her church family, before her health declined. Mary Frances and QL enjoyed being involved in Senior Saints at FBCWP and other activities throughout the years. She and QL enjoyed many memories camping with family and friends.
Mary was a native of Calhoun County. She worked for many years at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital as an inhalation therapist. She also volunteered as a pink lady at NEARMC for several years.
