Graveside services for Martha I. Cox, 97 of Anniston will be Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at Highland Cemetery with Rev. Dale Clem officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Gray Brown Service from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm. Mrs. Cox passed away August 31, 2019 in Birmingham.
Survivors include her sons William W. Cox of Bluffton, SC., Samuel E. Cox of Birmingham, Al., three grandchildren Sam Cox Jr. (DeDe), Christina Cox, Carolyn Cox, two great grandchildren Christopher Cox, Elizabeth Cox and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cox is preceded in death by her husband W. Warner Cox Sr.
Mrs. Cox was a longtime resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of 1st United Methodist Church of Anniston. She graduated from Shades Cahaba High School and she was a retired Legal Secretary.
