Margaret Martin

Funeral service for Mrs. Margaret Martin, 98, of Wellington, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Sam Legon officiating. Burial will follow at Middleton (Oak Bowery) Cemetery in Ohatchee. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Martin passed away Wednesday, October 19, at her residence.

Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her husband, Froal Martin; brothers, Harris and Bill Bryant; and sister, Ruth Pritchett.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Griffith (Mike); grandchildren, Sheila Vaughn, Sherri Caldwell, Michelle Roberts, Jeff Griffith, and Brian Griffith; 10 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Daniel McFall, Corey Owen, Tim Caldwell, Nicholas Caldwell, Justin Roberts, and Jimmy Mize.

Mrs. Martin was the oldest member of Hebron Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended until her illness. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
