Lois is survived by her husband, Alfred Maddox; her sister Bitsy Andrews (Larry) and her brother Johnny Burdette (Ruby); her sons David Dunaway and Jeff Dunaway (Cindi); her daughter Angie Terry (Timmy); her grandchildren Matthew Cooper, Ray Cooper, Michelle Cooper, Tyler Dunaway, Lindsey Dunaway, Chance McGee and Hannah McGee, her great grandchildren Hannah Cooper, Silas McGee and Tucker Cooper; several nieces and nephews and her fur babies.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Ella Burdette; her sister Corine Farrell, her previous spouses Guy Ray Voyles and James McMichael.
A visitation for Lois will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roger Young and Pastor Roy Frashier officiating. She will be laid to rest in Salt Creek Baptist Cemetery, Munford, AL.
Lois was a faithful servant of the Lord as a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church of Oxford. She enjoyed going to yard sales and camping. She loved every kind of flower and the life it shows. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed.
Special thanks to Enhabit Hospice, Anniston Health and Rehab, the nurses and staff for their caring hands and kind words during this emotional time, and thank you to Oak Hill Baptist Church for the help during her battle with Cancer.
