Funeral service for Mr. Larry James Summers, 69, of Anniston, will be 1PM, Monday, January, 30 2012, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Mr. Summers died Thursday at his home.
Mr. Summers is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carolyn Summers; son, Johnny Gene Summers; Daughters, Michele Summers Karns, Angel Dawn Summers and Stephanie Nicole Summers; Step-Children Angela McCrelles, Pearl Ann Hodge, Mary Ella Smith, London Hodge, Edward Hodge; 18 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Mr. Summers is preceded in death by his parents John Summers and Pauline Falon; Brothers, Billy Wayne Summers and Steve Keith Summers and a Nephew, Michael Summers.
Mr. Summers was a life-long resident of Anniston, Alabama and was employed at Blue Mountain Industries. Mr. Summers was also employed at M&H Valve of Anniston for 37 years prior to retirement
