Kay was a loving wife, mother, Memaw and friend. Up until her illness she rarely missed any event one of her grandchildren was involved in. She made sure that everyone knew how much she loved them. She enjoyed traveling and sitting in the sun on the beach. Many road trips were planned around which restaurant was in the area. She graduated from Alexandria High School in 1967. She loved Jesus and was a member of Alexandria Baptist Church for many years.
The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers, food, calls and support during this difficult time. A special thanks to the staff of Southern Care New Beacon for their loving care and compassion. Kay was loved so much and will be greatly missed.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Post Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
