Katie Mae Mosley Gilliam

Funeral services for Katie Mae Gilliam, 77, of Anniston, will be 11 am Friday, July 29, 2011 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Jason Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery in Golden Springs. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Gilliam died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at RMC.

Survivors include three sons; Randy Gilliam and wife Annie of Blue Mountain, James Gilliam of Weaver, and Barry Gilliam and wife Andrea of Anniston, three daughters; Tiny Forbus and husband Joseph of Eastaboga, Darlene Chandler, of Anniston and Janice Harrison and husband Mike of Oxford, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, one sister, Linnie Sue Sanders of Anniston, two brothers, William Mosley of Tuscaloosa and Howard Mosley and wife Sharon of Anniston.

Mrs. Gilliam is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Joe Gilliam, one son, her parents, Henry Preston and Lottie Mosley, five brothers, two sisters and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeffery Harrison, Jonathan Harrison, Alex Harrison, Ted Chandler, Christian Gilliam and Brandon Pollard. Honorary Pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Autumn Pollard and Renea Forbus.

The family would like to say thank you to the doctors and nurses, techs and Ana at RMC for the care and compassion they showed to our mother and family.
