Funeral services for Karen Morton Allen, 61, of Anniston will be 2 pm Friday, May 27, 2022 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Jesse Barksdale and Rev. Scottie Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Ohatchee. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 - 2 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Allen passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022 at her residence.
Survivors include two sons; Jonathan Allen and Justin Allen (Ivey), seven grandchildren; Makia Allen, T.J. Allen, Gabriel Allen, Kelton Allen, Makayla Allen, Annabella Allen and Amber Allen, one great-granddaughter, Malayah Allen, sister, Sharon Baker (Randy), brother William Phillips (Marie) and her fur baby, Prissy.
Pallbearers will be friends.
Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her father, Charles Morton (Gwen), mother Geneva Hodges Jones, brother, Allen Morton and her grandparents.
Mrs. Allen was a loving and giving person, avery talented lady that played piano by ear, wrote poetry, made many beautiful arts and crafts and sewed several years as team mom and spent all of her free time enjoying her children and grandchildren and her dearest companion her fur baby Prissy.
