Funeral services for Joseph E. Warren, 85, of Anniston, will be 11 am, Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Dr. Jeff Brassart and Rev. Scotty Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 – 8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Warren passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at RMC.
Survivors include two daughters, Paula (Paul) Goulet of Pell City, Alabama and Pam (Jeff) Brassart of Madison, Alabama; grandsons, Paul Joseph (Tiffani) Goulet and Christopher Goulet; granddaughters, Erin Boswell (Brad) and Amiee Brassart; great-granddaughters, Mackenzie Grace Goulet, Rosemary Elizabeth Goulet and Claire Elizabeth Boswell; brother, James A. Warren (Phyllis) of Boca Raton, FL; brother-in-law, Charles A. Moon (Gayle) of Westerville, OH; sister-in-law, Nellie F. Plunkett of Anniston and fourteen nieces and nephews.
Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Pauline M. Warren; parents, Jack Nelson Warren and Myrtle Mae Warren; brothers, Jack N. Warren and Jerre R. Warren.
Mr. Warren was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston. He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Warren was retired from the Anniston Army Depot and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
