Billy was a very beloved member of Leatherwood Baptist Church. He volunteered in many ways. He copied Sunday service DVDs and took to shut-ins on Tuesdays. He worked on computer issues at the church on Wednesdays. He volunteered at the Baptist Thrift Store on Thursdays working on electronics. If he did not finish everything, he would go back on Friday to finish. He loved doing these things and still had time to fix dinner for his family on Sunday evening for food and fellowship. He was a typewriter repairman for 60 years. He retired from Anniston Army Depot. He was also a proud veteran. The family would like to give a special thanks to Ascension St. Vincent’s Pell City Emergency Department and Ascension St. Vincent’s, East in Trussville for the wonderful care provided to our dad.
