Funeral service for Jerre Lynn Scott, 52 of Eastaboga, will be 12:00 pm, Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Dan Mattox and Chaplain Larry Wimberly officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Scott passed away Monday morning at his residence.
Survivors include his sister, Rebecca Scott; brother, Steven Scott (Tilli) both of Oxford; Uncle, Woodie Scott; Brother-In-Law, Mike Campbell; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Welch (Brian), Jason Campbell (Shay), Jana Greenwood (Scott), Jennifer Wade (Adam), Ashley Mayfield, Adam Scott, Katie Scott and Levi Scott Bailey; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Mr. Scott is preceded in death by his parents, James and Hazel Scott; sisters, Pam Campbell and Debra Mayfield; and brother, Dennis Scott.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mr. Scott was an avid Braves and Alabama fan. He had a great passion for playing billiards. He was a loving brother, uncle and friends to many. He will be greatly missed.
