Funeral Services for James Donald Fleming, 81, of Anniston, will be Thursday, May 25th at 2:00 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with James Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 54 years, Doris; his children: Vickie Adams (Wayne), Bobby Fleming (Barbara), Curtis Fleming (Wendy), and Kristy King (Neal); grandchildren, Michael Ingram (Kim), Jamie Fleming, Ben Adams, Shasta Adams, Ashley Lenning (Chris), Emily Fleming, Dakota King, Hailee Shell, Tyler Fleming, and Lauryn Jennings; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother Calvin Fleming; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Fleming was preceded in death by his parents Will D. and Elizabeth Fleming; three brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Hyatt, Boyd McMurrey, Wayne Brown, Michael Ingram, Chris Lenning, and Dakota King.
Mr. Fleming was a native of Boaz, Al and attended Walnut Grove High School. He retired from Super Valu warehouse after 33 years of service and is a veteran of The United States Army. He attended First Congregational Full Gospel Church. Online condolences may be made at www.graybrownservice.com
