Graveside services for Mr. James “Dick” Bonner, 97, of Choccolocco, will be at 1 pm Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Pete Frames officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 - 7 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Bonner passed away on Saturday at Cleburne County Nursing Home.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Cobb, one son Robert Bonner (Loretta) all of Choccolocco, four grandchildren, Mark and Terry Cobb, Wendy and Tanya Bonner, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Jewell and Lawrence Bonner.
Mr. Bonner was a native of Cleburne County and a resident of Calhoun County for most of his life. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
