Helen Screws

Funeral Services for Helen Screws, 65 of Oxford will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Pastors Jeff Duncan and Lewis Screws officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Screws passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at her residence.

Survivors include her husband Tommy Screws of Oxford, her daughters Gina Patterson (Jerry) of Oxford, Kristy Randall (Chris) of White Plains, her sisters Martha Johnson (Rhett) of Pell City, Ann Vinson (Boyd) of Anniston, her brother Bill Jones (Dagmar) of Blythwood, SC., her grandchildren Dalton Patterson, Dylan Randall, Brittany Patterson, Ryleigh Randall and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Screws is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Doris Jones, step-father Charles Riley and a sister Margaret Clay.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Patterson, Dalton Patterson, Chris Randall, Jeffrey Vinson, Craig Vinson, John Zellar, honorary pallbearer will be Private Dylan Randall.

Mrs. Screws was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Oxford. She graduated Anniston High School and was a loving and loyal wife, mother and grandmother.
