Funeral service for Mrs. Frances Boyd, 88 of Anniston, will be 1:30 pm, Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Hill Crest Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Reaves and Pastor Ken Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Boyd died Friday at her residence.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Oliphant; grandchildren, Elise Denton (Heath) and Brent Oliphant; sister, Ruth Burleigh; brother, Donald Herring (Betty); and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Boyd is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Henry Boyd; parents, Lovic and Dovie Herring; brothers, Walter Lee Herring and John L. Herring; sisters, Lou Black, Bea O’Brien, Sarah Phillips and Betty Jean Smith.
Mrs. Boyd was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church.
Flowers will be accepted or donations to Hill Crest Building Fund.
