Graveside services for Emma Jean Coger “MawMaw Jean”, 88 of Southside, formerly of Weaver, will be 11:30 am, Friday, August 31, 2018 at Forestlawn Gardens in Anniston with Minister Aaron Hall officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am prior to the service at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary.
Mrs. Coger died August 30, 2018 at her home.
Survivors include her daughters, Reba Williams of Auburn, Donna Ramsey (Ragan) of Southside; her sons, James Coger (Kathy) of Ohatchee, David Coger of Jacksonville, Mark Coger (Kay) of Anniston, and Allen Coger (Yvonne) of Anniston; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Bell (Carol) of Florida; sister, Landa Morrow (Leon) of Delta; sister-in-law and best friend, Dorothy Coger; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John M. Coger; parents, A.A. and Gussie Bell; and 13 brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Ramsey, Geoffrey Williams, Chad McMichael, William Coger, Bobby Coger and Chance Coger.
Mrs. Coger retired from Blue Mountain Industries after 25 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and spent most of her life taking care of others.
