Gardner (Pat); grandchildren, Jennifer Cox (Bobby), Mary Elizabeth Satterlee (Stephen) and Christina Tumlin (Daniel); Doug (Amber)

Gardner and Josh (Kenley) Gardner; 11 greatgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Howell was retired from Anniston

Army Depot where she served as a Switchboard Operator for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Howell;

parents, Fred and Mamie Howard; sisters, Opal Guthrie and Frances Dear; brother, Bill Howard. Pallbearers will be family members and

friends. Mr. and Mrs. Howell owned and operated Howell’s Grocery Store in Blue Mountain for more than 20 years. The family thanks primary

caregiver Mrs. Vancine Dubose for her special love and friendship she provided for many years. Also thank you to Dr. Wilfredo Grana, Gentiva Health Services and other home health care professionals who assisted in her care. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Saks Baptist

Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family and friends.
