Edward Keith Harmon

Mr. Edward Keith Harmon, age 60, was born to the late Mr. Edward Lucius Harmon and Mrs. Annie Mae Harmon on June 6, 1960 in Miami, FL. He departed this life on Saturday, May 29, 2021 in Anniston, AL surrounded by loved ones Beverly Conley Harmon and Latoya Harmon.

He grew up and attended school in Chattahoochee, FL. Upon graduation in 1978, he was inducted into the Army at Fort McClellan, Alabama, where he honored his country and did multiple tours in Korea and Germany. After his final service to the military in 1987, he moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he was employed with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Annie Mae Harmon; his father, Lucius Harmon; his son, Steven Harmon and a longline of other family and friends who are now reunited in eternity.

He leaves us to cherish precious memories and laughable moments: his children, one daughter, LaToya Harmon of Anniston AL; two sons, Edward Harmon Jr. of Anniston, AL, and Bryant Harmon of Tamarac, FL; one brother, Karl Dwyane (Sharon) Harmon of Ocoee, FL; two sisters, Pamela Lyons of Chattahoochee, FL, Julia (Edgar, Sr.) Smith of Williston, FL; five grandchildren, Jazmeonia Harmon, Daisha Harmon, Edward Harmon III, Aiden Harmon, Isabel Harmon all of Anniston, AL; one niece, Jayla Smith of Williston, FL; three nephews, Edgar Smith, Jr. of Williston, FL; Karl Harmon, Jr. of Alaucha, FL, Nathaniel Harmon of Ocoee, FL; special son, Antwon Harmon of Anniston, AL; special mother, Letha Wright of Anniston, AL, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
