Duane is survived by his daughter Haley Grace Lester; his son Dylan Brince Lester (Callie Green); and his son Colton Blaine Lester; his parents Cathy and Stephen Lester; his brother Jason Daniel Lester; his grandchild Lane Brince Lester and his niece Maci Lester.
Duane was preceded in death by his grandparents Nealy and Ruth Simpson, and his grandparents Homer and Mary Lester.
A visitation for Duane will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 542 W 52nd St, Anniston, Alabama 36206. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
Duane will be laid to rest in Ohatchee First Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Gary Truitt, Dennis Watts, Tyler Crump, Scott Simpson, Chad Turner, Heath Turner, Randy Simpson and Honorary pallbearers are Jason Lester, Dylan Lester, Colton Lester, Michael Simpson and Lane Lester.
Duane attended Alexandria High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycles. He was known for his positive outlook on life and his contagious laugh. He will be remembered for how much he cherished his children and was a loving father. His memory will be treasured, and he will be greatly missed.
