Oxford - Funeral Services for Donald H. Curry, 87 of Oxford will be 2:30 pm, Monday, July 9, 2018 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Bohn and Gregg Curry officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Curry died July 6, 2018 at NHC Healthcare.
He is survived by his son, Gregg Curry (Kim); sister, Ann Wilson (Wayne); and his brother, Jerry Curry (Mary Nell).
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Rosa Curry; second wife, Joyce Curry; parents, Barker and Violet Curry; and his brothers, Ralph Curry and Bill Curry.
Pallbearers will be Barry Comer, Trey Gunderson, Bryan Thrasher, Ronald Haynes, Perry Walters and Rev. Kevin Higgs. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Sam Starr Sunday School Class of Eulaton United Methodist Church.
Mr. Curry was a native of Anniston and was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He served on the Calhoun County Commissions and Calhoun County Board of Education. He was part owner of Curry and Brock Auto Parts.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Eulaton United Methodist Church.
