A lifelong resident of Chicago, Illinois, Debra (known to most as Debbie) came to live in Alabama just recently. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and aunt. She met her husband, Terry in 1971 and they were inseparable up until her passing. She gave birth to her daughter, Becky, in 1973. Sadly, Becky would live for only 6 weeks. Shortly thereafter in 1975 she gave birth to her son, David. David was the apple of her eye and they too were very, very close. The only person to take that place would be her granddaughter, Emily. She loved Emily immensely and she was a very important part of Emily’s life and upbringing. Debbie will be missed by many and there will always be a place in all of our hearts that will be empty, but knowing that she is no longer suffering will have to be something we can find comfort in.
