Memorial Services for Mrs. Debra McMillan Copeland, age 50, will be held at Edgewood Congregational Methodist Church this Saturday, July 13 at 2:00 pm with Brother Bruce Copeland will be officiating. Mrs. Copeland passed away July 3rd at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard R. McMillan and Virginia L. Dover, a brother Mitchell Wraight, a stepbrother Steven Clanton, and a stepsister Lesia Clanton.
She is survived by her husband Fury Copeland, daughter Jennifer Chastain (Matt), son Raymond Cheyne, a stepmother Earline McMillan, three stepsons, Ronnie Copeland, Samuel Copeland, and T.J. Copeland, two sisters Shelly Bevis and Cynthia Steadman, a stepsister Linda Houck, a stepbrother Glen Clanton, three grandchildren Grace Black, Blake Chastain, and Josh Chastain, and 24 nieces and nephews.
Debbie was a loving wife and mother and will be deeply missed. Debbie made her home in Ohatchee, AL. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.
