Funeral service for Deborah T. McClellan, 62, of Alexandria, will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Earl Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. McClellan passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Norman H. McClellan; daughters, Kimberly McClellan (Tommy), Deborah Michele McClellan, and Sheila Butler (Byron); sisters, Lucille Hulsey and Doris Jinks; brother, Danny Turley; grandchildren, Blake Alverson and Ashley Fadely; nieces, Annette Dowdle, Sonja Cuervo, Pam Letterman, Stephanie Payne, Nancy Townsend, Tina Hinesley, and Jeanne Thompson; nephews, James Jinks and Chris Jinks; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Dorothy Turley; grandson, Jacob Harris Fadely; and sisters, Geraldine “Dink” Turley, Imogene Turley, and Jeanette Turley.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Deese, Chad Motes, Tommy Dunn, Junior McMillan, Kenny Rochester, and John Payne.
Mrs. McClellan was a resident of Calhoun County her entire life, and was a joyful woman who loved hummingbirds. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister; and will be dearly missed.
