Funeral service for Deb Goddard Hicks, 62, of Anniston, will be 2 pm Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Dr. Rick Reaves officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 – 2 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Hicks passed away on Monday at RMC.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Roger D. Hicks, daughters, Sabrina Tate (Jamie) and Stacie Wald (Jason), Sister, Kim McClellan (Brett), grandchildren, Kensie Wald, Aime Tate, Madison Tate, Dillon Stokes and Jordan Wald, nephew, Daniel Price (Holly), nieces, Melissa Langston (Jeff) and Malori Miner (Stephen), great-niece, Camdynn Miner and great-nephew, Carson Miner, sister-in-law, Susie Hale, brother-in-law, James “Bug” Hicks
Mrs. Hicks is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Sara Goddard.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cotton, Jeff Langston, Stephen Miner, Randy Bentley, Wallace Gallahar and Sidney Stokes. Honorary pallbearers will be the Hosanna Sunday School Class at Hill Crest Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hicks was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church. Mrs. Hicks worked for Kid One Transport and Calhoun Cleburne Mental Health. She was organist for several churches for over 35 years. Mrs. Hicks was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
