Dean is survived by her daughter Janet Wheeler Bennett; her sisters Quay Edge, and Lynn Hudson (Mike), her brother Jimmy Pollard (Joyce) and her sister in law Madlyn Pollard; and a host nieces and nephews.
Dean was preceded in death by her husband Carter Bennett; her parents Cliff and Edith Pollard; her brothers CG Pollard and Andy Pollard.
Funeral services for Dean will be Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Jeremy Housk officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers are Friends and Family.
Dean was a longtime resident of Calhoun County and was the last survivor of her graduation class at Ragland High School. She was a member of Greenbriar Dear Church of Christ. She was a proud Pink Lady at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center and was devoted to her family, friends and neighbors. Dean loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Special thanks to Autumn Cove for the loving care they showed to our sister.
