Mr. David Alan Smith

Funeral service for David Smith, 49, of Anniston, AL, will be 11:00 am Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Lyn Childers officiating. Burial will follow at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. The family will receive friends on Wedneday from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Smith died Wednesday at RMC.

Survivors include his wife, Nadine Smith of Anniston; daughter Kathryn Brown and husband Jerry Brown Jr. of Moberly, MO; sons Carl Starkey of Anniston and Lale Starkey of Dexter, MO; grandchildren Madison Starkey of Anniston, Tyler Starkey of Anniston, Angela Starkey of Anniston, Maura Brown of Moberly MO, Jerry Brown III of Moberly MO; parents Richard Smith and Nelma Smith of Deerpark WA; sisters Gloria Wolfe and Barbara Stacks of Spokane, WA; brothers Darrell Smith, Danny Smith of Deerpark WA and Stacy Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Smith was an employee at Wal-Mart in Jacksonville and a member of Agape Christian Fellowship Church. Mr. Smith was a U.S. army veteran.
