Funeral service for Charles Vance Whiteside, 86, of Anniston, will be 2:30 pm, Monday, August 14, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Billy Dempsey and Paul Broom officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Whiteside passed away Friday evening at RMC.
Survivors include his wife Juanita Whiteside, daughter, Hilda Moore (Gene); son, Dennis Whiteside (Leigh); seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mr. Whiteside retired from Anniston electric and Southern Natural Gas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. He was a faithful member of West Park Heights Baptist church and served many year as a deacon.
