Charles Lewis Brown

Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Lewis Brown, 62, of Anniston, will be Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at the chapel of Gray Brown Service Mortuary, with Pastor Daniel Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family would like to welcome friends, one hour prior to service time. Mr. Brown passed away April 29th, 2023.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Brown; children, Stacey Mitchell, Shannon Brown, Zachary Brown; sisters, Sue Long (Jeff), Kathy Barthel (Rick), Linda Yancey (Richard), Connie King (Doug); six grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his father, Lewis Brown; grandparents, Charles and Sudie Brown, Charles and Gracie Black; nephew, Chad Brown.

Pallbearers will be Doug King, Jacob King, Mark Yancey, Matthew Yancey, Richard Barthel, and J.T. Barthel.

Charles was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He graduated from Saks High School. He was also an avid Alabama fan who loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed listening to his good friend Jim, on Trade Line, every day. He loved his family dearly and he will be missed by all those who knew him.
