Carolyn Bean Parris

Funeral services for Carolyn Bean Parris, 77, of Anniston will be 12 pm Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Rabbittown Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Morgan and Rev. Jerry Pike officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 - 12 pm at the church. Mrs. Parris passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center,

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Frank Parris, daughter, Lisa Simpson (Greg), son, Greg Parris (Kimberly), two granddaughters, Heather Arnold (Scott) and Hayley Parris, two great granddaughters, Mackenzie Bragg and Lacee Arnold.

Mrs. Parris is preceded in death by her grandson, Eric Parris.

Pallbearers will be Michael Johnson, Larry Angel, Derrick Kiser, Leonard Beecham, Wesley Ford and Justin Beecham. Honorary pallbearer will be Ronnie Couch.

Mrs. Parris was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
