Funeral service for Bobby Crump, 80 of Lincoln, will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at Refuge Baptist Church, 2170 Holly Hills Rd., Lincoln, AL 35096 with Bro. Joel Davis and Bro. Roy Cordle officiating. Burial will follow at Hall Cemetery. Mr. Crump will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service at the church. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, AL. Mr. Crump died July 14, 2018 at St. Vincents-St. Clair.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Jackie S. Crump; his children, Ray Crump (Tesha), Tim Crump (Sherry) and Beth Graham (Michael); grandchildren, Blayde and Shelby Crump, Gracie and Emma Crump, Baylee and Mollie Graham; sisters, Joyce Reaves and Carrie Nunnally (Dennis); brothers, Darryl Crump (Kim) and Phil Crump; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lula Crump and his uncle and best friend, Billy Crow.
Pallbearer will be Blayde Crump, Baylee Graham, Frankie Calhoun, Michael Calhoun, Barry Gauldin, Larry Phillips, Tommy Carlisle, and David White.
Bobby was a longtime Lincoln Youth League football coach and impacted many lives throughout his career. He was an avid Auburn football fan, a US Army Veteran and retired from AOD after 28 years of service. He was a longtime member of Refuge Baptist Church and a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
