Betty Hines

Betty Hines, 87, of Weaver, AL passed away on September 27, 2022. She is survived by her children Jackie Hines, Janet Bearden (Garry), Sherrie Hines, Cindy Stringfellow, (Gil), Tyler Hines (April). Grandchildren, Jackie Hines III, Jamie Hines, Dale Bearden, Emily Posey, Kelly Bearden, Crystal Carpenter, Seth Stringfellow, Tyler Hines Jr. Eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Sister, Mary Newberry.

Mrs. Hines is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Goss, sisters, Devonia Welch and Syble Voudrien, one grandson, Ryan Stringfellow.

Mrs. Hines was a great mother. We called her Superwoman and she could do anything. She made custom drapes for Fagans and Sears. She was a master gardener and volunteered for Coosa Valley Youth Services for many years. She was an artist and carpenter but most of all she loved being outside with her flowers and garden and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Hines was Baptist by faith. Gray Brown-Service Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
