Funeral Services Barbara Ann Smith, 69, of Oneonta, AL will be held at 2PM on Monday, April 16th, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Sunday night at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith passed away Wednesday at her Anniston home.
Survivors include her life partner Carrol Wayne Bryant; daughters Rebecca Ann Boone and Linda Kay Smith; sisters Sharon Smith, Linda Phillips, and Charlene Kotlowski; grandchildren Thomas Wilcox II, Johnny Wilcox, David Boone Jr., Andrew Boone, and Emily Boone. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Ray Smith and her mother and father Lee and Florence Dix.
Mrs. Smith spent her free-time crafting, making a variety of things including cross stitches and blankets for her family. She enjoyed four wheeling with her life partner, and she made the best peanut butter chocolate cookies. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and her vibrant life will be greatly missed.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes association in honor of Mrs. Smith
