Addie is survived by her son Stevie Young (Cindy).
Addie was preceded in death by her son Michael Andrew Young; her parents Andrew Jackson Harris and Dorothy Cofer Harris; her sister Margaret Ann Wallach and her sister Lynda Gilmer; her beloved grandmother Grace Canada Harris.
A visitation for Addie will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory with Pastor Ray Morris officiating.
Addie will be laid to rest in Eastaboga Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are John Wyatt Whisenant, Jay Whisenant, Richard Johnson, Jonathan Stanton, Mark Lucatorta and Jeremy Gregg.
Addie was a member of the 1961 graduating class of Lincoln High School. She attended Jacksonville State University. She retired after 25 years of service with the State of Alabama. She was a member of the 49th Street Baptist Church where she played the piano for over 50 years.
