Wesley Jordan

On November 5, 2021, Wesley (Wes) N. Jordan of Annapolis passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord. Beloved husband to Carolyn Jordan (Wyte) and former husband to Nancy Jordan, father to David W. Jordan (Mary) of Mt. Airy, MD and Richard N. Jordan (Margie) of South Dakota, and grandfather to Matthew Jordan of West Virginia and Julia Busby (Jordan) of Georgia, and step-father to Donna Bachand (Andrea) of Annapolis, Holly Finchem (Tim) of Florida and Etienna Bachand of Washington, and step-grandfather to Theresa, Emma, Phoebe, Kelly, Carey and Stephenie, and brother to Dr. Paul C. Jordan of California.

Wes was a graduate of DeWitt Clinton H.S. and the City College of New York (C.C.N.Y) where he earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. In varied disciplines, Wes was an oceanographic researcher, a materials engineer, and an electro-mechanical packaging engineer. He is best remembered by his associates as a steadfast counselor and supporter. He retired from the Westinghouse Oceanic Division in Annapolis at the young age of 59 giving him many years to travel the world with Carolyn and spend quality time with his children and friends. Wes was a life-long learner and mentor; together with his wife he enjoyed and worked diligently to give back to his community in programs such as Marriage Encounter, STEM, Conflict Resolution, the Catholic Church and Master Gardener.

A celebration of Wes' life and Memorial Mass will be held on 19 November, 2021 at 10:30am at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Annapolis, MD, followed by a memorial reception.
