Sunil Jha was born in the village of Tildanga, India in 1936. He studied in Glasgow where he met his beloved wife of almost 50 years. One of the world's foremost noise and vibration specialists, Dr. Jha taught at Cranfield Institute in England and worked for Firestone Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, OH and Case Int'l Harvester in Burr Ridge, IL before retiring to Annapolis, MD, where he was active at the senior center and repaired computers for low-income people. A beloved husband, father, brother and uncle, he was described by all who knew him as one of the gentlest and smartest people they knew. Services are Thursday, Dec 6, 3pm at Taylor Funeral Home in Annapolis, MD. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Johns Hopkins Medicine.
