Robert "Bobby" Miller

Robert “Bobby” Allen Miller Sr. of Rhodesdale, Maryland passed away on Thursday May 16th 2024 at the age of 70. He was born on October 10th 1953 in Annapolis, Maryland the son of the late Ernest John Miller Sr., and Gertrude Grierson Miller.

Following his education, he held various jobs until he met his late wife Linda “Jackie” Jacqueline Como. After the birth of their son Robert Allen Miller Jr. they moved to the Eastern Shore where Bobby started his own private business Millers Hauling. After the passing of his wife in 2003, he and his son moved to Rhodesdale, MD in 2005.

He enjoyed his time flying his Cessna, riding his motorcycle and hot rods, and being with his family. He was known for his laugh, his humor, and being the world’s best Pop-pop Bob to his two granddaughters who were his absolute pride and joy.

He is survived by his son Robert Allen Miller Jr. (Rebecca) of East New Market, his 2 granddaughters Charlotte and Grace, his brother Ernie Miller (Anne) of Ocean City, his sister Pat Hall (Stu) of Lothian, and many extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Miller (Christa) of Eldorado, his brother Paul Miller, and sister Barbara White.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on May 30, 2024 at 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens 1911 Forest Drive Annapolis, MD 21401.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made either to the family Go Fund Me account, or the Granddaughters Savings accounts.
