Our Mom was one of the strongest women we knew. Her sweet, kind and humorous disposition added to this supernatural strength. Mom’s devotion began with God, then to our Dad and then her family.
She held every position in the Women’s Ministry at Trinity Church. She was a member there 70 years. Her example of a Godly woman inspired many.
On a softer note.......Mom told us about a recent Dr's visit. The nurse went down the check list and asked:
Do you drink.....No, Do you smoke.....NO, at which time Mom said .... and I try very hard not to cuss...
Nurse: (laughing) asked so what do you do for fun chase men? Not skipping a beat Mom replied NO .... If I did that it would cause me to drink, smoke and cuss. She was very witty and she’d always beat you at Jeopardy.
We loved this dear, dear woman. We will miss you terribly Mom.
