Margaret Ann Hallock Terry passed away on September 25, 2017 following a long battle with complications due to a series of strokes. She was born in Annapolis, Md. to the late Russell and Margaret Hallock. She married William O.Terry in 1951 to whom she remained married until his death in 1983. She was also preceded in death by her infant brother, Samuel, in 1925. She is survived by her son, James Russell, of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; daughter, Brenda, of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Margaret worked many years for the State Comptroller’s Office until retiring in 1992. Friends and family are invited to visit at John Taylor’s Funeral Home on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. Her memorial will be held on Saturday November 4, 2017 at 2:00 at the Eastport United Methodist Church followed by a short service at Hillcrest Cemetery. We will return to the Church Fellowship Hall following the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The American Cancer Society.
