Margaret Riley

She was born in Chicago, IL to Harold and Evelyn Sheehan.

Margaret was predeceased by her is husband, Russell J. Riley Jr. and her daughter, Susan L. Hopkins. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Sheehan, her daughters, Christine M. Riley and Sharon K. Jewell, her sons, Scott C. Riley and Timothy P. Riley, her 4 grandchildren, Jeffery, Christopher, Stephen, Jesse, and her 2 dogs, Murphy and Bailey.

She moved to Maryland when she was 11 years old and she went on to graduate from the Academy of Holy Names in Silver Spring, MD in 1956. She worked and retired from the Maryland Higher Education Commission in Annapolis, MD. She lived in Annapolis, MD for 60 years.

Margaret loved traveling, gardening and bird watching. She loved to visit lighthouses, gardens, arboretums and wineries in her travels. She also loved play Pinochle and Mahjong when she was in Florida with friends. Her favorite flowers were orchids and roses.
