Kellie Victoria Richards

January 14, 1977 to October 14, 2020

In memory of our sweet, beautiful Kellie Victoria Richards, 43 years young, passed away Wednesday October 14th, 2020 at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Kellie was born at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. She is survived by her parents Kenneth W. Richards and Victoria Agolio Richards, her brother Ken, his wife Alisa, and their three children Everly, Colton and Lyla, her sister Katie and her daughter Lily Ella. Kellie leaves behind her beloved fiancé Joe DeFiglia and his wonderful family which she dearly loved. Kellie is also leaving behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that she loved and they loved her and will miss her.

Kellie graduated from Middletown North High School class of 1995. She was a member of the National and Spanish Honor Societies. She loved sports, excelling at field hockey, softball and basketball. Kellie graduated Mary Washington College (now MWU) in 1999 with honors. Kellie worked in the financial field in New Jersey, Florida and New York City.

Kellie was a unique fully rounded person. She was beautiful, smart, athletic, funny and an infectious character. She had a smile and personality that people would easily gravitate towards. She forged lifelong friendships everywhere she went in life, but always enjoyed occasions with her family most of all. She loved music and enjoyed dance parties with her sister, mother and friends.

Kellie was a big sports aficionado; she loved her Yankees and Packers. Kellie loved movies and always knew when to get a laugh by reciting word for word many quotes from them. Star Wars was one of her favorites movies that she first saw at three years old. Everyone that knew Kellie knows she loved all animals, especially her two rescue pugs and her beloved cat. She would have appreciated any donations to go towards the ASPCA.

God embraced her too soon for all of us on earth.
