Joanne Katherine Beck

Joanne K. Beck passed peacefully on December 20, 2018 after a lengthy illness. The daughter of Ritchie and Jane Park, Joanne was raised in Annapolis and graduated from Annapolis High School in 1971. For most of her career, she worked at Farmers National Bank retiring as a Trust Officer.

She married Edward S. Beck, Jr. in 1994 and together the enjoyed gardening, birding, boating and spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed playing piano and guitar and loved to share her gardening skills and plants with others. As a big supporter of the SPCA she adopted various animals over the years.

She leaves behind her loving husband Edward S. Beck, Jr., three brothers Ritchie A. Park, Jr (Irene), Karl J. Park (Sharon) and Steven D. Park (Patty), step daughter Cate E. Beck, two brothers-in-law John F. Beck and Louis M. Beck as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held on January 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis 710 Ridgely Ave, Annapolis, MD 21401. In Lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
