James Bailey Tucker

James Bailey Tucker, affectionately known as Jimmy T, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Jim was born on December 21,1951. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter S. Tucker, Sr. and Deloris (Bailey) Tucker. Jim is survived by his wife, Karen Kleis, and his siblings, Suzanne Currier (Sue), Walter S. Tucker, Jr. (Walt) and Lawrence W. Tucker (Bill). Jim enjoyed skiing and boating in his earlier years. His interests then moved to NASCAR, the Ravens, and traveling; the Florida Keys and Tombstone, AZ were some of his favorite destinations. Jim loved his stepchildren, all of his nieces and nephews, and his step grandchildren. Everything was an adventure with Jim, whether he was hauling horses for his wife, playing with his dogs or teaching his step grandchildren how to catch bugs in the pool. He also loved his work, and owned K&W Anchor Floor Covering for over 40 years. Jim was very proud of his accomplishments. He was a loving husband and stepfather who will be cherished forever. We will all miss you Jim, and we know you are in great company.

A memorial visitation for James will be held Monday, March 4, 2024 from 10 AM to 12 PM at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, Maryland 21401. A Memorial Service will begin at 12 noon in the Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow in the Funeral Homes Catering Room.
