Mrs. Evelyn Jane Gerrior

Evelyn Gerrior (age 86) On June 1, 2016 Evelyn J. Gerrior passed away at her home, surrounded by her family. Evelyn was born in Dublin, VA and moved to Annapolis in her youth. Evelyn was the President of Gerrior’s Nursery and Garden Center. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Fleet Reserve Club. Evelyn was a loving mother and dedicated grandmother. She enjoyed family time, travel, and gardening. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip Gerrior, Sr. Evelyn is survived by her children Phil (Toni) Gerrior Jr., Kimberly (Michael) O’Brien, and Donna MacDonald. She is also survived by her grandchildren Philip (Kata) Gerrior III, Christopher Gerrior, Natalie Gerrior, Alison MacDonald, Brendan O’Brien, and Lucia O’Brien. Friends and family may call at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc. 147 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401 on Monday June 6th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held Tuesday June 7th at 1 PM at the First Baptist Church of Eastport 208 Chesapeake Ave, Annapolis, MD 21403. Burial will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made in her memory to National Kidney Foundation.
