Eileen Deborah “Debbie” McNeely – Educator January 17, 1954 – August 15, 2015 Debbie McNeely was born on January 17, 1954 in South Bend, Indiana to Peter and Eileen Donahue. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and dear friend. Debbie graduated from the University of Michigan and went on to live in Ann Arbor, Michigan for 25 years, where she worked for Ford Motor Company. For the past 15 years, Debbie lived in Annapolis, Maryland and taught at Bates Middle School. Debbie was a dedicated teacher, and was very passionate about the world of education. She was an avid reader, a tea aficionado, and a lover of all things nature. She enjoyed every sunrise and every sunset. Her vast knowledge, appreciation, and understanding of the world allowed her to discuss just about anything with anyone who needed a friend, and made her that unique and loving individual who was so adored. She is survived by her son Dr. Patrick M. McNeely and his fiancée Dr. Andrea Naranjo-Erazo, her parents, Peter and Eileen Donahue, sister, Mary Kathleen Schneble (Jim), brothers, Patrick Donahue (Stephanie), Peter John Donahue Jr. (Angela), Mark Donahue (Katrina), and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 28 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD 21401. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 29th , 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis.
