On October 7, 2015 Dorothy Bosley passed away at home at the age of 95. Dorothy was a life long Annapolis resident. She graduated Annapolis High School and then received her R.N. degree from the Hospital for the Women of Maryland in 1941.
She then married the late Clifton B. Bosley Sr. of Annapolis in 1943.
She worked for several Annapolis doctors until she retired in 1990. Afterwards she volunteered knitting caps for newborns at AAMC. She was also a lifelong member of Trinity UMC and a member of the Joy Circle. She loved the beach and spent her winters in Florida.
She is survived by her two sons, Clifton (Nancy) B. Bosley Jr. and John (Betty) A. Bosley; two grandchildren, Rebecca (Michael) Peterson and Jeffrey Bosley; three great grandchildren, Bethanny, Emma, and Owen Peterson. She is also survived by her brother John (Lorraine) H. Armiger and niece Susan Armiger.
Friends and family may call at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc. 147 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401 on Sunday October 11th from 4 to 6 PM and on Monday October 12th from 10 to 11 AM for visitation where services will be held Monday at 11 AM in the Taylor Chapel. Burial at Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
