Cora Elizabeth Cook On October 18, 2017 Cora Elizabeth Cook of Annapolis passed away. Cora was predeceased by her husband Edwin W. Cook, her son Keith W. Cook and her siblings, Thomas E. Dempsey, Ruth J. Jackson, and Anna V. Walters. Cora is survived by her daughters, Cherie L. Zindorf and Joy L. Valentine and her brother Forrest E. Dempsey. Cora is also survived by her four grandchildren, Lindsey Zindorf, Christopher Zindorf, Brandon Valentine, and Brittany Valentine. She is also survived by her two great grandchildren, Evelyn and Gwyneth Landon. Cora enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, traveling, canning, and quilting. Friends and family may call at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home 147 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401 on Friday October 20, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, where services will be held Saturday October 21 at 11 AM in the Taylor Chapel. Burial will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville. In lieu of flowers please bring chocolate and wine.
