Charles Shaffer, devoted husband of his late wife Loretta, passed away on July 9, 2021 at the age of 92 from natural causes.
He and Loretta were married on May 1, 1954 until her death in 2020. Charles spent most of his life in the Baltimore area including his longtime home in Catonsville before moving into Assisted Living facilities in Severna Park and Annapolis.
He worked many years producing technical manuals for Bendix Field Engineering Corporation. Charles was a competitive ballroom dancer and traveled all over the country competing, sometimes with his wife.
Chuck, as his family knew him, is survived by numerous grand nieces and nephews who will miss his always charming demeanor.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 10 am in Loudon Park Cemetery 3620 Wilkens Ave, Baltimore, MD 21229.
