Dear Friends and Family, We would like to extend our heartfelt thank you for your kind condolences and prayers for our dear son Vishnu Murthy. Past few months have been the most crippling and challenging months we have endured in our lifetime, we are still unable to comprehend the suddenness and still trying to come to terms. We are truly touched by your kindness and overwhelming support during this time. We would like to thank you for the flowers, food, memory cards, pictures of Vishnu, videos, heartfelt messages. Vishnu thanks you for the flowers and your prayers. _/\_ Vishnu touched many lives through his genuine nature and contributed positively to all the communities he was involved in. His legacy will always be cherished. Few of Vishnu’s friends have helped us to create a foundation in his name so his work and legacy can be continued. We are truly thankful to you all for your support and contributions to the foundation. Vishnu believed in empowering young minds through mentoring. We plan to continue his work of helping the underprivileged children in their education.Our only purpose in life is to see Vishnu through the eyes of the children we serve. Vishnu Murthy, age 20, of Fairfax, Virginia passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Vishnu was born May 24, 2001.

A mourning period for Vishnu will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S 4th Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104. Following the mourning period will be a MukhAgni "cremation service" at 2:00 PM at Southern Michigan Cremation Services, Livonia, Michigan 48150. Friends are welcome to attend both services.

As the saying goes, life is not measured by its length, but by its depth. Our Vishnu lived every single day to the fullest - touching the lives of more people in two decades than most people do in their lifetime. Vishnu will live eternally in all of our hearts. His work continues to live through the minds of many people he mentored, smiles that he brought, games that he played, code he wrote, soulful songs he sang, gardens that he tended, and lives that he touched.
